Topic “Dynamics of Humanities and Social Sciences in Cross-Border Societies.”

Rationale

Trends in cross-border society, in the context of liberal economy and globalization, have critically constructed an embeddedness in contemporary world and further impacted human society to become more dynamic. These emerging trends also cause the diversity and the endless transformations for decades.
A cross-bordered social complexity entirely addresses a variety of critical issues, as a result of human activities, social interactions, mobility and information flows. This is the reason why Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSOC) scholars should study, as well as, conduct researches in order to find out a potential preparation, tentative planning and appropriate prevention to these emerging changes. Therefore, mechanism of these dynamics would be clarified through a systemic study and methodology for our sustainable human society in the upcoming future.
As a network of scholars who have engaged these issues, HUSOC Network is aware of related theories, approaches and paradigms as a vital means to solve and witness these matters. For this reason, the network has a mutual commitment to hold an international conference to exchange their knowledge and concerns, as well as, to monitor the current trends in cross-border studies, under the topic “Dynamics of Humanities and Social Sciences in Cross-Border Societies.”
The HUSOC conference has been annually held for 9 consecutive years and this 10th conference is scheduled between February 2nd – 3rd, 2017 at the Main Auditorium, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, Chiang Rai Province.
Moreover, this international conference also reaffirms the aims of HUSOC network to raise the significance of HUSOC knowledge and to continue exchanging the emerging issues based on academic ground. Additionally, it is hoped to enhance liaison and collaboration between universities/institutions in order to strengthen HUSOC network in the forthcoming age.
