public lecture on The Politics of Anti-Corruption in Southeast Asia

The Centre of ASEAN Community Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Naresuan University will hold a public lecture on The Politics of Anti-Corruption in Southeast Asia by Associate Professor Dr Ayako Toyama from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, at Prabtraijak Room 2-206 from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Dr Toyama earned her Ph.D. from Kyoto University. She has received awards for her book entitled Democratization and Constitutional Reform in Thailand: Has Constitutionalism Saved Democracy? from the Japanese Society of Southeast Asian Studies in 2021. She has published widely on Thai politics, the Constitution, democratization, corruption, civil-military relations, monarchy, and comparative politics. She teaches International Relations, Comparative Politics, and Political Economy at the University of Tsukuba, Japan.
